Amanda Reeve

My name is Amanda Reeve. It has always been a dream of mine to open my own cheerleading gym. I believe cheerleading teaches children how to be a team player and also instills leadership skills and confidence. I have been involved in the cheerleading industry for more than 10 years and have coached children ranging from elementary school age to high school cheerleaders. As a coach, my athletes have competed at the state and national levels. I am very passionate about what I do because I truly do love coaching cheer and helping people improve on their cheerleading skills. I look forward to working with you and your children to create a fun competitive environment.

I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as a member of USASF. I am credentialed in All-Star cheerleading Levels 1-4 and in tumbling.

Rachel Forrest

My names Rachel Forrest. I’ve been cheering or have been involved in cheer for about 6 years and I love every part of it! I love working with kids and teaching them new tricks. Cheerleading requires a lot of focus and skill and I think it’s so awesome. I’m so passionate about what I do and the kids I work with! I love the adrenaline that going out onto the mat brings.

I am also cpr certified and an official USASF certified coach!

Caitlyn Rosenberg

Hi, my name is Caitlyn Rosenberg and I am a Sophomore studying Communication Studies at Moorpark College. I started out as a dancer from the age of 8-13 when I discovered Allstar Cheerleading. I competed in levels 1-4 at a local Allstar gym over a 5 year period and was a captain of the stunt team at Thousand Oaks High School. My Allstar team went on to win Grand Champions for level 3 at a UCA competition in Florida. Although this will be my first time coaching Cheer, I’ve had the opportunity to work for Afterschool programs for 2+ years with whom I judged Sharp cheer and Dance competitions. Cheerleading was the single most positive experience I had growing up, and it has always been my dream to coach. I am very excited and honored to be able to work with the young athletes at Impact and hope to bring them the same positive experience and life lessons I had during my cheer career. I am also USASF certified.

Toddler Tumbling
Ages 2-5

Every kid loves to jump around. Off things, into things, over things, and on things. This program is designed to develop early motor skills, coordination, and spatial awareness. Some activities include: jumping, climbing, use of obstacle courses, developmental trampoline skills, along with the introduction to the gymnastics apparatus.

Moms & Dads should be prepared to move about, you are the child’s primary instructor while a trained staff person guides you through the class. If you are looking for tumbling classes that are completely child-centered, fully non-competitive, and possibly closer to home than Impact Cheer and Tumbling is for you.

All Star Cheerleading
Ages 5-18

Competitive cheerleading is when cheer squads compete against each other at a competition. Our competitive teams (ages 3-18) practice 3 times a week and compete in national and local competitions.

At a typical cheerleading competition, teams perform a 2 and a half-minute routine with music that includes stunts, jumps, tumbling. Teams are judged by a panel of cheerleading experts on difficulty and execution. The winner in each division gets a trophy and bragging rights.

All types of cheerleading teams have the option to compete, but not all school-based cheerleading squads are competitive. School teams perform routines with a cheer with signs, poms, and megaphones that showcase their sideline skills along with an entertainment section to music.

On the other hand, all-star cheerleading squads, who are not affiliated with a school, exist solely to compete. All-star routines do not include a cheer since they don’t technically cheer for anyone, and their routines are all entertainment/music. Teams compete based on age and difficulty.

Either way, competing as a cheerleader is really challenging, athletic, and so much fun. If you want to become a competitive cheerleader, find out if your school has a cheer squad that competes or contact a local all-star gym.
